Your first screenshot,
right where you need it.
Start with the screenshot tool you already know. Shotmori takes over from there.
1Check your screenshot folder.
During setup, check that the selected folder matches where macOS saves your screenshots. If you use a custom location, choose that folder.
No need to move your files.
Shotmori works with your existing save location. Your macOS screenshot settings stay separate.
2Take a screenshot. Bring up the shelf.
Use your usual screenshot shortcut. Once the file is saved, it appears in Shotmori. Open the shelf from the menu bar or with the shortcut you chose.
3Select, then drag into your work.
Select an image, or use ⌘ to add more to your selection. Drag them into an app that accepts files. Crop, redact, or resize first when you need to.
Screenshot taking a moment to appear?
macOS can wait until its floating thumbnail closes before saving the file. Shotmori picks it up after it is saved. You can manage this behavior in macOS screenshot options.
