A few quick answers.

Does Shotmori take screenshots itself?

No. Keep using the built-in macOS screenshot tool. Shotmori works with the images that are saved.

How does it work with Claude or Codex?

Drag images from the shelf into an app that accepts file attachments. This is an image transfer workflow, not built-in AI model analysis.

Do I need a Google Drive account?

No. The core shelf, crop, redaction, resize, and copy-text tools do not require a cloud account. Cloud connections are optional.

Does removing an image from the shelf delete it?

No. Removing a shelf item and moving a file to the Trash are separate actions. Moving a file to the Trash from the menu asks for confirmation. An optional backup setting, off by default, can also move a file to the Trash after a verified backup.

What will Shotmori cost?

Pricing and license terms have not been announced. They will be shared here with the public release details.
